As a Senior Software Engineer (Java/J2EE), you'll be a part of a high-volume enterprise delivery team with expectations around excellence and efficient engineering solutions in software application development on the cloud and integration with various other enterprise applications.

Responsibilities

• Architect and develop new features

• Communicate effectively with team members, and stakeholders (locally and across the globe)

• Provide effective technical leadership to a highly adaptable, multi-discipline team

• Participate in an agile-based development practice delivering value at high velocity

• Collaborate with team leaders to define, implement and ensure best practices

• Contribute to the technical road map and technical debt elimination

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or other equivalent experience in software development/IT

• Focus on scalability, security, and availability of all applications and processes

• Ensure full-stack software solutions are developed using industry-leading DevOps best practices and technologies

• Provide support for escalated operational issues within supported platforms

You will enjoy this role if you have...

• Recent hands-on experience with the following technologies: Java, Spring Boot Framework, Angular, REST API development, AWS services like ECS, lambda, Dynamodb, RDS, SQS, etc.

• Experience in fast-paced product delivery and scrum practices

• Familiarity with Confluence, Jira, ServiceNow, and Git.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in designing and building software solutions

• Experience with: Java, Spring Boot Framework, REST APIs, relational and NoSQL databases, microservices, and serverless design/technologies

• 2+ years of experience working with React, Angular, or similar web frameworks

• Experience integrating, designing, and building REST APIs, and web services

• Advanced interpersonal skills to effectively promote ideas, collaborate across teams, and influence stakeholders to reach decisions.

• Detail-oriented with respect to software development processes, communication, and documentation

• Capable of performing requirements gathering, analysis, and documentation.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate with stakeholders at various levels
